R.E.M. in concert in Naples

R.E.M.'s 2008 tour will hit Naples during the "Carpisa Neapolis Festival" for a concert on July 23, 2008.

R.E.M. chose the enchanting Naples expo center for one of their Italian concerts on their 2008 European summer tour. Michael Stipe, Mike Mills and Peter Buck, alias R.E.M., will thus finish up their world tour after their American concerts in May and June. The group is returning to Italy after a long absence. Their last appearances in Italy were in 2005 in: Perugia, Verona, Naples, Codroipo (Ud) and Milan.

There's great expectations for this insatiable American group, able to pump out one success after the other without ever falling from the most important international hit lists. The tour follows the release of their last CD "Accelerate" anticipated by their hit single "Supernatural Superserious".

A once in a lifetime chance for the Athens band fans. Tickets are one sale at major box offices and on-line circuits and can be reserved at TicketOne. Tickets cost 34.50 Euro including advanced sales fees.
